I’ve been editing for other creators for over 5 years now, and creating my own content on my channel for 10+ years.

In 2025, I started working with an editor on our team to help me edit my own videos for the first time, which has been a very insightful process. It feels strange to let go of control, to trust another person to take on the responsibility of helping shape your videos. But what I’ve learned from being on both sides of this process, is that in order to grow, you have to learn to let go. Shifting my mindset from my “my content is changing” to “my content is evolving” has been a huge benefit for me. I understand that Kasi, the editor that’s helping me out, cannot read my mind and it’s been very important for me to realize that I will never be completely hands off of a process that’s so unique to me. I love the editing process, and my goal isn’t to remove my personal touch- it’s to improve the quality of my content by collaborating with a trusted partner. We can work together to figure out what that balance looks like for you.

Over the past couple years, there’s been a surge of freelancers offering their services to creators. Which is awesome. Also, work-life balance is something we heavily prioritize! So that means we do not work on weekends, US & Canadian federal holidays, and need at least 1 week heads up for deadlines.
